Did you know that we designed, built and commissioned the first TETRA in-building coverage system in the UK?

Cross Country Wireless Ltd have developed the CCW Radio Survey Tool for detailed radio coverage analysis of greenfield and in-building coverage problems and the practical evaluation of any potential coverage enhancement solution.

This allows us to optimise the design of a coverage enhancer or repeater's antenna system and amplifier gain distribution in terms of coverage, potential co-channel interference and BTS receiver noise loading before the coverage enhancement scheme is built. The commissioning procedure is also simplified as a result.

The same design method can also be used for the design of microcells and mini BTS sites or distributed antenna systems.

Over the past ten years as Cross Country Radio Services and Cross Country Wireless we have designed and built many successful coverage solutions for 802.11b Wi-Fi, GSM900, GSM1800 and TETRA networks.
